Frequently Asked Questions
Question #1: Can I set my own password?
Answer: No, the Caresquare Portal does not use traditional passwords. Instead, it uses a One-Time Password (OTP) system to create a secure session unique to your device or browser. This eliminates the need to remember or manage a password.
Question #2: If I log out after using the Portal, can I use the same OTP to log in again?
Answer: No, OTPs are designed for single use only. Each time you log out and want to log in again, a new OTP will be sent to your registered email. You’ll need to use that new code to access the portal for your next session.
Question #3: What happens if I don’t click “Log Out” after using the Portal?
Answer: If you don’t manually log out, your session will remain active. This means that even if you close and reopen your browser, you’ll still be able to access the Portal using the same device. The OTP you used will remain valid for up to 30 days unless you log out.
Follow up Question for the above:
Question #3.1: What happens after 30 days?
Answer: The session will automatically expire after 30 days. This means the OTP you used will no longer be valid, and you’ll need to request a new OTP to log in again.
Question #4: The OTP that I entered does not work at all.
Answer: Try logging in again after a few hours and make sure you are picking the most recent OTP. Each time you attempt to log in, the system generates a new OTP and sends it by email. This means that if you try several times, you’ll receive multiple OTP emails but only the latest one will work.
From the screenshot below, we can see there are 6 different OTP emails. This means the user attempted to log in 6 times, and each attempt issued a new code. If you enter any of the older codes (even if they were only a few minutes ago), the system won’t accept them.
Here’s how to make sure your OTP works:
Go to your inbox and look for the most recent OTP email (check the time stamp carefully).
Copy the code from that newest email.
Enter it right away on the login screen
If the code still doesn’t work, wait a few minutes and try logging in again to generate a fresh OTP.
👉 Key tip: Only use the newest OTP and ignore all older emails, even if they arrived just seconds apart. Avoid putting spaces before the first and after the last digit.
Another helpful step you can try:
In your email inbox, search for NDIS Portal [email protected].
Delete all the old OTP emails you’ve received from that email.
And Try logging in again. This way, the only OTP email you’ll see is the most recent one, which matches your latest login attempt.
This helps avoid confusion between old and new codes and ensures you’re always using the correct OTP
