How to add a Task

Tasks help you keep track of follow-ups, reminders, and action items within CareSquare. You can create tasks linked to a participant or create a general internal task for your team.

there are 2 ways to add a task :
1. Task main page

2. Participants Task Tab



Add Task via Main Page

  1. From the left-hand navigation panel, click the Task button.


  2. Once the Task window opens, complete the required fields:

    a) Task Title – Enter a clear and actionable task name.

    b) Task Description – Add any notes or additional details related to the task.

    c) Participant (Optional) – Select or link it to a participant.

    d) Assignee – Choose the team member responsible for the task.

    e) Due Date – Set the date the task should be completed.

    f) Priority Level – Select the task priority level.

  3. After completing the details, click Create Task.

Add Task via Participants Task Tab

You can also create tasks directly from a participant’s profile. This is useful when the task is specifically related to that participant, as the participant will automatically be linked to the task.

  1. Navigate to the participant you would like to create a task for. Once inside the participant profile, click the Tasks tab.

  2. In the top-right corner of the Tasks section, click the Add Task button.

  3. Fill out the task information:

    a) Task Title – Enter a clear and actionable task name.

    b) Task Description – Add additional notes or details related to the task.

    c) Assignee – Select the team member responsible for completing the task.

    d) Due Date – Choose the due date for the task.

    e) Priority Level – Select the appropriate priority level.

  4. Once completed, click Create Task.

After creating a Task, you can access the 'Tasks' page.
​This page serves as a centralized location for all your tasks, with their respective details and due dates. If you've assigned a task to someone else, they can view the tasks assigned to them on their own 'Tasks' page.


- To mark a task as complete, check the box icon. This will automatically move the completed task to the 'Done' tab.

Notes

  • Tasks can be linked to a participant or left unassigned for general internal tasks.

  • Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.

  • You can manage and track created tasks from the Tasks section in the sidebar.
